Cupids Arrow

Ive been hit but the wound is beauty itself,

pulsing with a blood so red, a fiery passion aswim in my head,

and now i sit sleep heavy on my brow, no whys, just the now.

What thought flashes my mind, joy abounds in my heart,

like a golden tear heavy and pure,

that drops to the floor and explodes.

Bursting into a dazzling show of ecstasy, that is so bright,

so light, that i close my eyes,

reach out and kiss the air, and behold her lips are there,

for me to touch wherever i go,

Oh sweet love tis truly a splendid show!
